2015: Condiments Around the World
During the 2015 Tradeshow season we took you on a taste adventure that featured some of the most amazing Condiments Around the World.
- Wasabi Ginger
Pebre is the most popular Chilean condiment sauce, recipes vary per region but it generally contains: cilantro, garlic, onion, olive oil, and ground aji chili peppers. It is used as an add-on to empanadas, soups, meats and more. Its freshness and simple ingredients make it the perfect addition to any meal.
Harissa is a hot sauce or paste used in North African (Moroccan, Algerian, Tunisian) cuisine, made from chili peppers, tomato, spices and olive oil. It is added to soups, couscous, stews, meats and vegetables.
Zaatar is a Middle Eastern spice mix used to add flavor depth to meats, veggies, rice, and breads.
Our version contains: thyme, sumac, oregano, red pepper, sesame oil, garlic and onion.
Chamoy is a Mexican sweet-salty-spicy-sour sauce that contains fruits such as apricot and tamarind, chili peppers and lime. It is traditionally used as a dip for fresh fruits and veggies (apple, mango, carrot,
cucumber, jicama, orangeâ€¦), a snack seasoning and
it is equally delicious on chicken, pork and seafood.
Wasabi is a strong tasting Japanese plant with a thick green root, typically served as a powder or paste to accompany raw fish.
Tzatziki is a sauce of Greek origin, made from yogurt, garlic, and cucumber.
